Burgers are quite dry. Fries have skin on them, asked for gravey not much on it. Onion rings are the best!

BLT Wrap is simply the best. Fries are really amazing chip wagon fries - perfect salt, great crisp and never over cooked. The go-to place for chip wagon food in Kemptville.

Fresh food across burger ingredients and fried sides . Prices are reasonable and include taxes.Cash only is slightly inconvenient though. Anyways highly recommended

Wonderful service! We were treated like friends and they have a really cute and spacious sheltered area for ordering and waiting, and picnic tables off to the side. My poutine was tasty, the perfect size and full of cheese, and they have best fries I've gotten from a chip truck in a long time. They were still crispy on the outside and soft in the middle when I ate some of my sister's cold leftovers several hours later. I didn't know that was possible. Wish I still lived in Kemptville so I could visit here all the time like my family does.

I love fry trucks, and I love this place. I have tried many, many fry trucks all over the Ottawa area and in the valley; and by far this place is in the top two trucks.Their fries are tasty, nicely cooked on the outside but still soft on the inside. The poutine was fantastic. They give you a very generous amount of cheese. Far too many trucks give you loads of gravy and little cheese, but not Chip Chop. They provide with you a great amount of both. So you get cheese in every bite.I also recommend their J.P.s Cowboy Candy". They are candied jalapenos. They are not very hot and they are super flavourful.Couple of notes:-Lots of parking available-Lots of tables to eat on outside

Clean, super friendly service, the best fries and poutine around. Try JPs Cowboy Candy or Kris Chicken Jalepeno Wrap. You'll keep coming back for more!!Edited: back again a few years later, and still does not disappoint. Worth the drive from Toronto lol. The homemade lime aeoli on the wrap is delicious, JPs cowboy candy still sweet and spicy, and the poutine has wrecked all other poutines for us. And the fish fry.. I don't even like fish usually, but it was so tasty I had to have a couple bites of my husband's, much to his dismay.

Great service! I had a poutine, fries were good, gravy ok not what I am necessarily looking for when I have a poutine with the different spices in it, but still good, just the right amount of gravy. Nice set up and plenty of picnic tables. I would stop again if I am in Kemptivlle and will try the fish fry if I am there on Friday with all the good reviews I read.

CASH ONLY but great little place that has DELICIOUS fries!!! They were just the right amount of crispy outside but fluffy inside, we’ll definitely be going back! Also tried the JP cowboy candies (candied jalapeños), for $1 they were okay but probably wouldn’t order them again.
